Unitech gets GSM spectrum in Madhya Pradesh circle

New Delhi: Real-estate developer Unitech Thursday said the government has issued a letter to the company's subsidiary allotting it 4.4 MHz of spectrum in the GSM band in Madhya Pradesh.

"The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has issued a letter to the company's subsidiary company for allotment of 4.4 MHz of Spectrum in 1800 MHz GSM band in respect of Madhya Pradesh Service Area," a Unitech statement said.

With this, the company has been allotted initial spectrum in six service areas out of the total 22 service areas, the statement added.
