BANGALORE : The US-based IT consulting company Unisys Corp said on Wednesday it plans to invest $180 million at a new technology centre in India over the next five years.

"The company expects the new centre will employ around 2,000 people and will spend approximately $180 million for employment and other related expenses," the company said in a statement ahead of a news conference.

"The centre will provide software development, maintenance, business process outsourcing and technical help desk services," the statement said.
