U.S. Indian radiologists group meets in Chicago

Chicago: The American Association of Radiologists of Indian Origin held its annual meeting which was followed by dinner at Gaylord India Restaurant in Chicago. Over 130 radiologists from America and abroad attended the event, reports N. Begum of Desi Talk. The keynote speech was given by Dr. Vijay Rao, Chair of the Department of Radiology at Jefferson University in Philadelphia. She spoke about the future of radiology, referencing utilization management, unit cost reduction, advances in technology and the necessity of medical imaging. Rao was gifted a sign of appreciation and acknowledgement of her contributions to medicine and the Indian community. Following this, Dr. Kishor Taori, a radiologist from India, emphasized the importance of maintaining a knowledge exchange between radiologists in the United States and India. The radiologists' group also announced its collaboration with the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin.
