U.S. IT firm, Model N to invest $25 Million in Hyderabad centre

Hyderabad: Model N, a Silicon Valley based revenue management solutions provider, will be investing $25 million in its India operations at Hyderabad over the next three years. "The Hyderabad centre currently housed 105 professionals, which will be scaled up to 250 by the end of September 2011," said Zack Rinat, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Model N, after announcing the formal launch of the company's facility in Hyderabad. He said the Hyderabad centre will be engaged in product development, professional services, application support, product management, quality assurance, customer support and documentation, with primary focus on the pharmaceutical, life sciences and high tech marketplace. Model currently has a revenue management suite of 14 applications, and over 40,000 end users in the high tech space. Earlier, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K Rosaiah, who inaugurated the centre, said his Government aims to achieve 70,000-crore infotech export turnover and an additional 1.25 lakh IT jobs by 2015.
