Tulip IT Services showcases 97 percent Q3 growth

Mumbai: Tulip IT Services, a provider of data telecommunication services and IT solutions, has registered a net profit growth of 54.09 Crores - an increase of 97 percent - for the quarter ended on 31st December 2007. The net profit in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal was 27.48 Crores. Registering an of 54 percent growth, the company's net sales stood at 341.5 Crores. It was 222.19 Crores during the same period of the previous fiscal. Client added by Tulip during this quarter include Life Insurance, Kajaria Ceramics, Telecommunication Consultants India (TCIL), ITC, Schlumberger, Dominos Pizza, Avon Ispat & Power, Reliance Life Insurance and BAG Films. Tulip was awarded the 2007 Frost & Sullivan Market Leadership Award for MPLS / IP VPN Market in India and was short-listed as one of the 6 finalists in the Asia Innovation Awards by the Wall Street Journal at GES Singapore for its innovative use of wireless on the Last Mile. Tulip had also bagged prestigious Assam SWAN Project from Government of Assam. Commenting on the growth, Lt. Col.
