Ranking number 31, Wipro, formerly known as Western India Products Limited is one of the top Indian providers in IT services. Headquartered in Bangalore, the company has made revenue of $5.8 billion higher than last year revenue which was of $5.3 billion even though it ranked the same position as last year.

The company currently operates in four segments; namely IT products and services, consumer care and lighting, healthcare and infrastructure engineering. As of 2012, the company has over 130,000 employees and a worldwide presence with global centers across 54 countries. Although the market share remains the same with 0.7 percent in both 2011 and 2012, the company has witnessed a growth rate of 7.6 percent.  Azim Premji, the current chairman of Wipro was listed as one of the top tech billionaires in the world. Wipro is driven by issues considered important to employees, current and future generations, customers, investors, suppliers and the community as a whole.

Infosys

Revenue: $6.7 billion

Infosys, previously known to be Infosys Technologies Limited is an Indian multinational provider of business consulting, technology, engineering and outsourcing services. Infosys ranks at 26^th position with revenue of $6.7 billion, higher than last year revenue which was of $6.3 billion, ranking 27^th.

Headquartered in Bangalore, Karnataka; Infosys is the third largest India-based IT services company by 2012 revenues. As per the study, Infosys has a growth rate of 6.6 percent but its market share remains stagnant even after a year with 0.7 percent.
