Formerly known as Western India Products Limited, Wipro is one of the top Indian providers in IT services, consulting and outsourcing services. Headquartered in Bangalore, Wipro makes it to the number 9^th spot with revenue of $7 billion, particularly from the offshore category. The company currently operates in four segments, namely: IT products and services, consumer care and lighting, healthcare and infrastructure engineering. As of 2012, the company has over 130,000 employees and a worldwide presence with global centers across 54 countries. Azim Premji, the current chairman of Wipro was listed as one of the top tech billionaires in the world. Wipro is driven by issues considered important to employees, current and future generations, customers, investors, suppliers and the community as a whole.
