64 percent of the respondents reported to have answered a phone call, and 41 percent of them made calls while attending nature’s call. Android and iPhone users are more likely to use an app or browse a social network when compared to BlackBerry users, who incidentally, are more prone to answer calls in the bathroom. iPhone users usually make more purchases online when compared to the rest of the population with other phones. However, the “retail-urgency” was only experienced by the youngest people on the survey, who were in the 28-35 age group. In contrast, the oldest group of people had only 8 percent of them making purchases while in the john.
