iPad Mini with Retina Display

Apple has launched iPad Mini last year and has now upgraded the same to 7.9-inch screen with Retina display quality. It has also upgraded the screen resolution to 326ppi while its previous version has a 163ppi screen resolution. Even the hardware has been upgraded to A7 chip and M7 co-processor respectively. The rear camera remains the same with 5MP but the front camera has been improved to hold a 1.2MP FaceTime snapper.

The iPad Mini with Retina will sell for $399 for the 16GB Wi-Fi model and the Wi-Fi plus cellular connectivity will cost $529. The device will hit the store by November end.

Mavericks X OS

The new and improved Mavericks X Operating System enables an improved battery life with longer web browsing activities and the software’s ‘Compress Memory’ feature will compress inactive memory components. It fits 6GB of data in 4GB of RAM which means that users can run more applications without lag. It also comes out with an improved graphics support, with special focus on integrated graphics. Mavericks will automatically recognize graphic intensive tasks on the device and provides more memory for them. Other features include Notifications, Tags in Finder and Multiple Displays. Maps app is also available with Mavericks. Mavericks will also support iBooks for Mac.
