The fastest selling gadget: Kinect

San Francisco: With the selling of 10 million gadgets, Microsoft's Kinect became the fastest selling tech gadget. By beating Apple's iPad and iPhone's previous record it made into the Guinness book of records as the fastest selling gadget. The Guinness book records revealed that from November 4, 2010 to January 3, 2011, Microsoft sold eight million devices at an average rate of 133,333 a day.
Gaz Deaves, editor of Guinness book of Records 2011 Gamers' Edition, said "The sales figures here speak for themselves; we can confirm that no other consumer electronics device sold faster within a 60-day time span, an incredible achievement considering the strength of the sector."
The Kinect has an infrared camera for Microsoft's Xbox 360 games console cost around 130 pound. This console allows the device to track body movement.
