Q. How bad is diet soda for me?

A. Very bad! That can of diet soda that you open has health risks pouring out of it. Studies have proven that too much of it may increase your risk of obesity and Type II Diabetes. Diet sodas also add on as many calories as a plate of food, which is bad for those on a diet. Researchers have also found that people who constantly drank diet soda were at a forty-eight percent increased risk of suffering a stroke or other vascular event, metabolic syndrome and other heart problems. Gradually switch from soda to juices. Or flavored water and start adding fruits to the water you drink.
