 2. Hack of Sony Game station:

In mid April this year, Sony had to shut down its play station network as it got hacked by Lulzsec. This, one of the largest technology company found a non-gaming intrusion in its system and the company’s forensic analysis team said it took several days to find the fact. The most awful part is that the hackers were able to gain access to the databases containing the subscriber information such as home addresses, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, and the credit card numbers of nearly 77 million users. This was more messed up as the online gamers are more upset with Sony. The company took nearly a month to recover and re-launch its online multiplayer gaming network. Security analysts admitted that this problem fixing was much expensive and time-consuming.
