Bangalore: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has come under criticism from all sides for the recent price hikes and interest rates, justifiably so considering that he is leading the country, but is he the only one making these decisions? There is a whole team advising and guiding him. So, let us have a look at some of these players.

Pranab Mukherjee , Finance Minister:

Mukherjee is a senior member of the Cabinet Committees on Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Parliamentary Affairs, Political Affairs, Prices, Security, Unique Identification Authority of India, and World Trade Organization. He is also a member of the Congress Working Committee, the highest decision-making body of the Indian National Congress. He holds MA degrees in History and Political Science and a degree in law from the University of Calcutta. He has been an advocate and a college teacher in his long public career. Mukherjee began his career as a college-teacher and later as a journalist. Pranab Mukherjee's first stint as the Finance minister of India was during the Indira Gandhi government in 1982. He presented his first annual budget in 1982-83. In the second government of Manmohan Singh, he again became the Finance Minister of India.

1: The country is manned by expert economists now than ever before. But the opposition speaks about only negative factors and by many who does not know even the basics of economics. Youths who know just to operate the computer criticise MMS. Politicians who do not have the basic qualification criticise the Master. MPs and MLAs are just disrupting the Parliament/assembly. Can any MP, barring a few can converse/argue/discuss about the country's economy. Their behaviour is as low as a small village panchayat.

I agree with u, most of our country folks are negativity oriented, v r expert in making joke of others and laughing at others. I think v need to learn to live in positive vibrations and have guts to praise the political opponents as well. There needs to be a very strict Law implementation everywhere, common sense will follow. As of now only nonsense and lopsided egoistic attitude prevails because corrupt with money power think they can buy anything. But see the positive side achievements of this 10 member team alongwith their master .... they have put in corrupt powerful Like Raja, Kanhimozi, Kalmadi, Amar Singh etc etc behind bars and that is what is required .... People have to realise that Police-Politician nexus is not going to work anymore.

Sir, to both of you, I think you do not have any idea how all the above culprits are in jail, it is not the achievement of the govt but their faliure as they should have been in jail long before it.....
It was our PM who once said that Raja is not culprit at all...
I agree that opposition always do excessive disturbance but it goes for Congress also...
With the current Govt....we had all the Ghotals at most of the places and that too the biggest amount after our freedom...
Price hike of each and every commodity, every basic need is getting more expensive day by day....
it is unfortunate that only the richer are getting more richer...
If these educated economist do not do anything then who will do...
I agree that Mr. Manmohan Singh is very honest PM but it does not mean that every honest person has the ability to lead the country and as far as I think....he as a leader has been a faliure.....
