Jennifer Lawrence, Hollywood’s upcoming and promising actress now stands as the second top earning actress in Hollywood film industry with total earnings of $26 million in the last year. The actress had already bagged an Oscar for Best Actress for "Silver Linings Playbook" in 2012 and her other film , "The Hunger Games" did well at the box office and turned out to be one of the top-grossing movies of the year.

Initially Lawrence was paid under $1 million for the first Hunger Games series but Lionsgate was pleased with her performance and agreed to pay more to cast her for the second seriesof ‘Catching Fire’. This Oscar winning actress has successfully proved that action heroes can also be played by women for a film to turn a blockbuster.
