Tech Mahindra to scale up its operations in Africa

Lagos (Nigeria), June 27, 2011 - Tech Mahindra, a global systems integrator and business transformation consulting organization focused on the communications industry, declared Nigeria as the headquarters for its BPO operations in Africa and has elaborated ambitious plans to scale up its African operations on the eve of its second year of successful operations in Nigeria on Friday. Over a period of two years, we plan to reduce the expat headcount considerably and develop the workforce locally to run the operations. They outlined the need for the regulators and government to actively pursue SIM registration, which is absolutely necessary to ensure identity traceability and security for the nation.
