Tech Mahindra ties up with Symbiosis Group

Mumbai: Tech Mahindra Limited, provider of IT services and solutions to the global telecom industry, and Symbiosis group of institutes,have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to jointly provide facilities, such as setting up research labs, sponsoring student initiatives, offering projects, mentoring students, instituting scholarships and awards for academic excellence. This joint designing, strategy and planning sessions will help students gain insights into the real technology leadership cadre. Simulation and design labs which will be setup will help create products and solutions for the future. C P Gurnani, President International Operations, Tech Mahindra said, “We believe that, it is critical for the success of the industry as well as the academia to engage in such partnerships so as to foster the existing pool of knowledge and advance in the right direction. It is Tech Mahindra’s endeavor to contribute to the society by keeping it abreast with the ever evolving changes in global technology.” Dr. S. B. Mujumdar, Founder, President and Principal Director, Symbiosis feels that by working together the institute can combine the best of theoretical knowledge and hands on training. "We strive to offer robust and enriching programmes to effectively meet the demands of the industry. This initiative would also help our faculty to keep abreast with the trends in the industry,” he informs.
