New York: 'WomenNow,' America's first South Asian TV talk show, is in its second successful season on TV Asia. With people in the Diaspora sitting up and taking notice, the show has covered an array of topics, ranging from fashion, yoga, health to more serious issues like female infanticide and infertility, reports India Tribune. "We are pleased to carry the program 'WomenNow' on our Channel which reaffirms our mission of supporting programs made right here in North America," said H. R Shah, Chairman of TV Asia. 'WomenNow' was launched on TV Asia on July 4 this year to be a voice for South Asian women. This trailblazing show is watched by diverse segments of the immigrant South Asian population. "We're excited to be working with the community and, finding so much talent, it would be sheer waste of talent to not showcase it to a larger audience." Said Ena Sarkar, Founder, Host and Co-producer of the show.
