TVS Motors to tap Vietnam, Indonesia markets

CHENNAI: TVS Motors, pioneers in two-wheeler manufacturing, is planning to set up plants in Vietnam and Indonesia, according to a business daily.
The company vice-president (Sales and Marketing), R Chandramouli, who inaugurated the second TVS dealership of Aditya Automobiles at Patmata area here, told reporters that the company was exporting about 2 per cent of its products to other countries.
TVS Motors, with annual turnover of over Rs 2,000 crore, has its headquarters at Hosur in Tamil Nadu and manufactures a complete range, from low-end mopeds to high-end premium bikes, Chandramouli added
A team was already on job and soon its report would be available for the company to take the final decision on setting up the plants, he said.
