TCS inks pact with Bahrain firm

MANAMA: Bahrain National Holding (BNH) Company has signed a long-term contract with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), to consolidate its position as a preferred insurance service provider, according to a report on the Website of the Gulf Daily News . TCS vice-president Jagdish Raj Bhandari and BNH chief executive Mahmood Al Soufi signed the agreement at BNH's corporate office at the City Centre, Manama. According to the agreement, TCS undertakes to provide a state-of-the-art customised software product for all of BNH's general insurance needs. "We believe TCS is best positioned to serve our interests over the next few years," Al Soufi, said. Bhandari said the new solution is web-based, flexible and user friendly. It will take close to 12 months for implementation and to network all distribution channels.
