TCS signs pact with Novo Nordisk

MUMBAI: Tata Consultancy Services, the information technology division of Tata Group, has signed a pact with Novo Nordisk, a player in the field of diabetic care, for the implementation of an offshore clinical operations service. According to the pact between both companies, TCS will provide a suite of data management services, which include designing, capturing, and coding of trial data gathered from clinical trials that are run by Novo Nordisk across the world, out of its modern BPO facility in Mumbai. TCS has domain expertise as well as a pool of skilled professions in the field of pharmaceuticals, the company source added. Novo Nordisk is actively working on its outsourcing strategy and already has a number of agreements in place in India.
