Syndesis names Jag Siva as new VP

FREMONT:Syndesis Ltd., a provider of operations support systems software said it has named Jag Siva vice president of global services. Siva joined Syndesis in January 2000, and previously served as assistant vice president for global services. He has held various management posts at Bell Canada, and has worked for Microage/Compucenter, Hailey Griffin, and WSIB. As vice president for global services, Siva will be responsible for service and support of the company's customers and partners. Formed in 1986, Syndesis has raised $55 million to date from Greylock, Helix Venture Capital, Pequot Capital, Sequoia Capital and VenGrowth. The customers of the Toronto-based firm include Bell Canada International Inc., Sprint Canada Inc., Swisscom AG, MCI Inc., Broadview Networks Inc., Yipes Enterprise Services Inc. and Telecom Argentina S.A.
