'Stingray' the new keyboard less phone from HP


Bangalore: HP is expanding the webOS world with a new keyboard less product 'the Stingray'. The device is an 'EVO with WEB OS'. Though there is not much information about the new product, but there are speculations about the product that the slate's just slightly bigger than the Pre 3 and the screen could have either a front facing camera or a proximity sensor. The product may have a screen resolution of 480x800. The device looks like a Pre 3 without the slideout keyboard. Aping HP's recently announced Pre 3 we have to wait and watch if the Stingray is true as the leaks. HP also recently announced TouchPad, and a smartphone HP Veer. Pre 3, is powered by Qualcomm MSM8x55 1.4GHz single-core SoC. It's a 3.6 inch QWERTY slider phone with a 5MP camera. The camera includes LED flash with video recording and a front facing camera too. It has the facility of 8 or 16 GB storage, 512 MBRAM. The 9.7 inch TouchPad is powered by the Qualcomm MSM8x60 SoC with a 1.2 GHz dual core CPU Scorpion CPU. It has a 1.3 MP webcam and 1GB RAM. The weight of the gadget is 1.6lbs and its 13mm thick. The Wi-Fi only version of the TouchPad will be coming to U.S. with 3G/4G versions in the summer. The Veer is powered by MSM7230 800MHz single-core SoC. It is a 2.6 inch QWERTY phone. It has a 5MP RAM. Well, it's been a month since HP has announced the webOS devices. But till now they have not mentioned when the devices will reach India. We can only hope to get the webOS devices soon in India to experience it.
