11.51 Billion net profit

Mumbai: Anil Agarwal promoted Sterlite Industries India has posted a consolidated net profit of 
11.51 billion during the first quarter this fiscal, marginally up from the 11.42 billion that the company earned in the comparable period last fiscal, a company statement said.
For the quarter ending June, total income decreased to 61.72 billion from 64.89 billion in the corresponding quarter last year, the regulatory statement said.
On stand-alone basis, the net profit of Sterlite Industries has gone up to 3.57 billion this quarter from 2.01 billion in the same period last year, the statement said.
Total revenues, however, slipped to 31.42 billion this quarter, down from 31.65 billion in the comparable period last fiscal, the statement said.
