Sierra Atlantic launches Siebel UAN centre in H'bad

HYDERABAD: Sierra Atlantic on Tuesday announced an expanded relationship with Siebel Systems, launching its Siebel Universal Application Network (UAN) centre of excellence in Hyderabad.
The centre specialises in integrating Siebel software with other software packages.
To meet the expanded business from the US, Europe and South East Asia, Sierra Atlantic will recruit more than 100 Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) experts specialised in design and development of products using Tibco, IBM Websphere, webMethods, SeeBeyond, BEA WLI and BizTalk, according to a company release.
Sierra Atlantics CEO Raju Reddy said, Siebel UAN is rapidly becoming the integration platform of choice for Siebel customers. No other company can even approach the core competence in UAN we have built from working closely with Siebel on application integration over the past three years.
The relationship has strengthened the companys position as the leading Siebel partner focused on the UAN integration platform. Sierra Atlantic provides companies with the ability to integrate Siebel software with their other enterprise software packages using Siebels new UAN framework.
Nimish Mehta, senior vice president for Siebel UAN said Siebel customers can rely on Sierra Atlantic to quickly achieve dramatic benefits from UAN by creating whole customer processes across their enterprise applications.
