Should we have a Single or Multiple Entrance Exam System?

Bangalore: Every year thousands of students prepare for entrance exam which decides their future and career success. But there are many questions on if these tests can be effective measure of a prospective management student's capabilities? Well, there are many such entrance exams to measure student's capabilities and in present era we can see that many entrance examinations are owned by various deemed universities.

Before there was Joint Management Entrance Test (JMET) in favor of the Common Admission Test (CAT), then Delhi University's Faculty of Management Studies came as another option, reports PaGaLGuY. All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has also approved colleges giving the surge of B-schools going for CAT. Though entrance exam like MAT and CAT are the most popular one, but there are many other institutions where they have their own entrance test like XAT entrance test for Xaviers Labour Relations Institute, Symbiosis International University has their own test called SNAP, NMAT Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies etc.
