Seagate launches products for SOHO

Bangalore: Seagate Technology announced the availability of two new network storage products aimed at small office and home network users, the Seagate Mirra Sync & Share Personal Server and Maxtor Shared Storage II. The Seagate Mirra Sync & Share Personal Server is an easy content management solution that provides automatic and continuous data protection for multiple users, synchronisation and remote access to data anytime, anywhere. The Maxtor Shared Storage II is a simple shared storage solution, providing up to 1 terabyte of capacity for automatic backup, centralized storage and media playback for listening to music and viewing digital content on connected entertainment devices. It provides nearly effortless data management and security for up to 20 PC or Mac users. A new high-speed Gigabit Ethernet connection ensures fast data transfers and file sharing between computers on wired and wireless networks. Mirra Sync and Share Personal Server will be available in 320 GB and 500 GB capacities for a recommended retail price (RRP) of Rs 23,500. The Maxtor Shared Storage II solution will be available in a 1 TB capacity model and will have an RRP of Rs 37,500.
