Scandent Solutions Q4 net up 22.5%

BANGALORE: Scandent Solutions Corp., a mid-sized Indian software services firm, said its earnings after tax in the fourth quarter ended March were $2.21 million on revenue of $16.52 million.
The company, which listed in March after buying the software unit of SSI Ltd., did not give figures for the year-ago quarter. It said revenue grew 5.7 percent over the previous quarter while post-tax earnings surged 22.5 percent.
The Bangalore based firm is a unit of Singapore headquartered information technology and back-office group Scandent, founded by Chairman Chris Sinclair, a former head of PepsiCo International.
