Scandent to upgrade Dhaka stock exchange

NEW DELHI:IndiaÂ’s mid-sized software firm Scandent Solutions Ltd. has bagged a multi-million dollar contract from the Dhaka Stock Exchange to upgrade its electronic trading system TESA. "We will now be providing them a system with enhanced risk management and other features on a new platform," a senior company official said. The deal is to migrate the trading platform, enhance TESA with additional functionality and supporting the migrated system. "DSE has been a very happy and satisfied customer since 1998. We will now be providing them a system with enhanced risk management and other features on a new platform. It will be an end to end solution to address the growing needs of DSE," said VP and head of Scandent's capital markets business V Santhanam. "The recent win from DSE reiterates our customers' confidence in Scandent's ability to build, implement, and support mission critical financial systems," said Scandent CEO Dilip Keshu.
