Samsung to unveil Galaxy Tab 10.1 and 8.9


Bangalore: Samsung is soon launching its Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 8.9 tablets on August 10th for the Indian Market. The tablets- Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 8.9 features Android 3.0 Honeycomb. The Sleek devices have flash support, full HTML web rendering capabilities, better power management, and a proper user interface. Both are based on Nvidia's dual core Tegra 2 processor clocked at 1 GHz, and DDR2 based RAM. The devices are capable of 3G+, therefore customers will get up to 21 Mbps download speeds depending on the operator. Although no details about the prices and availability have been revealed, but internationally its prices are said to be very similar to that of an iPad2. This is priced between Rs 32,000 to Rs 42,000 depending on the variety. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and 8.9 furnishes better graphics and gaming experiences to the users, these tablets are also equipped with gyroscope and accelerometer. The tablets feature stereo speakers and full HD 1080p playback at 30 frames per second, which can also be played on a big screen TV with the help of HDMI out port. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 also has a larger 6860 mAh battery and can be availed in 32 GB and 64 GB variants.
