Samsung expands its Galaxy family in India


Bangalore: Samsung has officially announced the release of three new Galaxy smartphones, Galaxy Ace, Galaxy Fit and Galaxy Pop. After the huge popularity of Galaxy smartphones, they are extending the Android based galaxy family in India. Galaxy Ace is powered by the Android 2.2 OS and it runs on 800 MHz processor that allows users to experience high web browsing speed. The phone features a 5MP flash enabled camera and it has a 3.5 HVGA TFT display. It comes with 2GB memory card which is also expandable up to 32 GB. This phone has Social Hub feature that provides deep SNS integration. It also has the ThinkFree office, through which users can edit Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents. Galaxy Fit runs on Android 2.2 and powered by a 600 MHz processor. It enables users to access a wide variety of Android and Samsung apps. This phone features a 3.3 QVGA TFT display. It has Wi-Fi and HSDPA 7 connectivity. The phone comes with a 5MP camera and expandable memory up to 32 GB and a 1350 mAh battery. The phone has many more interesting features too such as SWYPE text input, ThinkFree Office and Active Sync. Galaxy pop runs on Android OS and the phone is 3G enabled. It offers fast downloading speeds. The phone has a 3.1 QVGA 16M TFT display and the Touchwiz 3.0 UI. The phone is embedded with a 3MP camera and runs on a 1200mAh battery.
