Samsung Launches the First Mango 7.7 Phones

Bangalore: The wait for Windows Mango 7.5 based smartphones in India is finally over as Samsung announced the launch of Omnia W. Samsung Omnia features a 3.7 inch Super Amoled capacitive touchscreen with native resolution of 480x800 pixels. Powered by a 1.4 GHz application processor that runs on Windows Phone Mango 7.5 on 512 MB of RAM, the phone makes use of the native Windows user interface. The device is 10.9 mm thick, and is comfortable to hold. Omnia W also has a wonderful pixel density of 252 ppi that results in crisp and smooth visuals. It also has a 5 megapixel camera with LED Flash that records at HD 720p video. The device is priced at 19,990 and will be available for purchase from next month.
