Rohm And Haas announces 3% price hike

PHILADELPHIA: Rohm and Haas Powder Coatings announces a 3% general price increase for all powder coatings products. The price change will take effect April 1, 2003 or as contracts permit. The increase is needed to cover the continued increases in energy and raw material costs.
Additionally, Powder Coatings will closely monitor energy and transportation costs. In the event of further increases, a temporary transportation surcharge may be necessary.
