Religare MF hired Mirchandani as Taurus head of equity

Mumbai: India's Religare Asset Management has hired Mohit Mirchandani, for the post of head of equity at Taurus Asset Management. In his new post he will serve the company as head of its portfolio management services arm, sources with direct knowledge of the development told to Reuters.

Mirchandani, who had joined Taurus from ING's India fund unit in February 2009, will start his tenure at Religare's PMS unit as head of investments from July 1.
