Rediff.com posts Q3 loss of $302,000

MUMBAI:Nasdaq listed Rediff.com has posted a net loss of $302,000 in the quarter ended December 31as against a loss of $161,000 during the same period last year. The total revenues for the quarter ended December 31stood at $3.3 million, an increase of 29 percent over the same quarter last year, largely due to 61 percent growth in India online revenues, which increased to $1.6 million from $0.98 million over the same period during the last fiscal year. Registered users grew by 19 percent to 35 million by December 31 as compared to 29 million in Q3 of 2003. "We expect to continue to focus on product innovation and upgrading our platform," said Rediff.com chairman and CEO, Ajit Balakrishnan.
