Ramco launches operations in Dubai

CHENNAI: IT solutions firm Ramco Systems said it has launched its operations in Dubai on Tuesday to service the growing demand for enterprise solutions in the Middle East.

The Dubai office will function as the sales, marketing and implementation headquarters of Ramco Systems in the Middle East, R Shankar, country manager & head (India, Middle East and Africa), said in a statement here.

"The launch of our Dubai operations demonstrates our global commitment to being networked across key strategic geographical locations worldwide," he said.

Chennai-based Ramco Systems plans to establish strategic partnerships in the region with customers and partners. The company's network of partners in the Middle East include Schlumberger, RAK Bank, National Bank of Oman and Al Salam Aircraft Company, he said.

The Dubai office is the 16th office of Ramco Systems with the other offices located in nine countries worldwide.

Ramco Systems, a subsidiary of the $300 million Ramco Group, employs over 1300 people.
