HYDERABAD: Promantra Synergies Solutions has entered into a multi-year business process outsourcing (BPO) contract with the US based healthcare management company, Northwest BEC, to offer solutions to US healthcare industry. Promantra has opened a 30-seater BPO centre at Hitec City in Hyderabad. Besides bagging the BPO order, Promantra has also announced a joint venture with Northwest BEC proposing to set up a 300-bed geriatric hospital and research centre in Hyderabad. Promantra’s CEO Dr Praveen Vadlamudi said the BPO centre would focus on attracting US healthcare companies and the multi-year contract will help in handling financial functions of Northwest. The company is bringing in initial investment of Rs 2.5 crore for the 30-seater facility which will later be scaled up to 150 seats with an investment of Rs 12.5 crore to be made within a year. The proposal to set up geriatric hospital is in initial stages, he said. Northwest is a privately held firm promoted by Mr Dannis Adamson and has annual billing revenues in excess of $100 million. According to Dr Praveen, the company will handle financial functions of all Adamson companies at the back office in India during the first phase. Later, the BPO centre will utilise BPO outsourcing principals to provide non-hands-on healthcare to patients in US.
