SYDNEY: If you are thinking that call center business in India is going places and taking competition from China due to its skilled man-power and English speaking population, then its time to re-think on it. According to IT industry officials, only one in 10 graduates are worth taking and the reason is India’s poor education system, which is threatening the boom in outsourcing. Industry experts believe that despite having large man-power, India has very limited skilled labor. They said that the problem was not of quantity, but quality. Virtually every industry from IT, outsourcing, retail to hospitality, manufacturing and biotechnology is struggling to find skilled workers and managers in India.
