2. Apple vs. Samsung
During April 2011, Apple lashed out against one of its big time rivals in the mobile sector and accused them of infringing upon the company's intellectual property. This time, Apple's target was none other than Samsung and aimed specifically at its line of Android-based Galaxy smart phones and the Galaxy Tab tablet. Apple's charges include 10 claims of patent infringement, two of trademark violation and two of trade dress like appearance and packaging violations. However Samsung retaliated saying Apple has violated their patents in communications standards, hence filed a counterclaim.
