New York: The Asian American Business Development Center (AABDC) has announced its call for entries and nominations to honor Asian American entrepreneurs and business professionals with great achievements. The 'Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business Award' is the first and largest business award programme for the Asian American business community. Seeking Asian American entrepreneurs and business professionals with distinguished performance, the 2007 award programme will honor accomplishments made in 2006. Entries will be accepted from March 12 to May 18, according to a AABDC press release. "It is that time of the year again when the most influential entrepreneurs and professionals of the Asian American community come together to celebrate the spirit of cultural diversity and excellence in business," AABDC president John Wang said. Established in 1994, AABDC is a non-profit organization whose mission is to assist Asian-owned businesses to compete in the US mainstream marketplace.
