Nexus Venture Partners funds 9 Crore to Greywater Technologies

Mumbai: Greywater Technologies, a provider of packaged products for water and waste water treatment, have succeeded in raising 9 crore from Nexus Venture Partners. Greywater operates in India through its wholly owned subsidiary Jaldhara Technologies. "This is the seed round of funding which we have raised. The fund will be used for product, technology and infrastructure development on the primary basis. It will also be used for broadening the market space held by us. We aim to become the market leader based on our innovative approach and the partnership with Nexus is a critical milestone in building our business," says Harshad Bastikar, Founder and CEO, Jaldhara Technologies. Jaldhara's targets the residential and commercial complexes, IT/ITES parks, hotels, malls, hospitals, etc., for their water and wastewater treatment products. They offers pre-fabricated products that are plug-and-play, and save space and operating costa compared to conventional be-spoke solutions available in the market. Nexus worked with the founding team to finalise the business plan, market approach and product launch. Anup Gupta, Manging Director, Nexus Venture Partners, has joined the board of directors of Greywater Technologies. He told that the growing pressures of urbanization are accelerating the need of wastewater treatment and recycling. Excited about the Greywater's approach and team, they believe that Greywater will make a significant impact in the market.
