New Range of Printers Unveiled for Gujarat SMBs

Bangalore: Hewlett-Packard, a computer maker company in an effort to help the Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) in Gujarat has unveiled a new range of laser jet printers that are high on energy efficiency. The SMBs of tier -II and tier -III cities across India are also the main targets.

HP has already launched its LaserJet Pro P1108 that has a built-in printer driver which is presumed to be the world’s most energy efficient printer along with few other printers.

"Our new range of Laser jet printers are affordable, space and cost saving devices specifically designed for small office home office (SOHO's) and SMB's," Country Manager, LaserJet Enterprise Solutions HP India Mandeep Gupta said.

HP as part of its marketing strategy has taken the initiative to authorize its channel partners through training and workshops including incentives to expand the printer market in tier II and tier III cities.

Mandeep Gupta also said "Gujarat is an important market for us and we offer industry's largest portfolio of printing solutions with innovative products for the customers". HP has proposed to enhance engagement with its channel partners in tier II and tier III cities across India, he added as per a report by Economic Times.

Last month a study by Hansa Research team which was aimed at understanding and exploring the options of a commercial laser printer that could help Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) have maximum efficiency on their total cost of operation revealed that, Dell laser printers are the most efficient in terms of speed and cost reducing the total cost of operations for SMBs which means that HP will now have to face a tuff completion from Dell’s laser printers.
