VIRGINIA : New Enterprise Associates (NEA) announced the promotion of Ravi Viswanathan, Ph.D. to Partner. Viswanathan focuses on information technology investments. Ravi Viswanathan joined NEA earlier this year as a Principal and has proved invaluable in assisting and evaluating a number of NEA investments. Just prior to NEA, Ravi worked in Goldman Sachs' private equity group. Ravi is based in Reston, Virginia.
