Netsuite brings cloud computing ERP suite to iPhone
Mumbai: NetSuite has brought the first cloud computing mobile ERP suite to Apple's iPhone and iPod touch. The NetSuite for iPhone and iPod touch delivers on-the-go access to NetSuite's integrated business management suite, including real-time Dashboards that deliver key Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Ecommerce operational data. NetSuite for iPhone and iPod touch is available for free on the online App store. Companies using NetSuite to manage their key business processes, access invoicing, customer records, inventory, and financial reporting can now access NetSuite functionality using a rich interface designed to run natively on iPhone and iPod touch. Additionally, if a company has implemented custom fields, custom records, role-based security or custom dashboard elements in their NetSuite account, they will all be seamlessly reflected in the NetSuite application. Mobile business functionality enabled by NetSuite includes NetSuite Dashboards including KPIs, report snapshots, trend graphs, scorecards, reminders, and recent records. The dashboards are interactive, allowing users to drill down and explore trends with the touch of a finger. There is also a NetSuite Calendar with support for accepting or declining events and marking tasks complete. Additionally, there are productivity tools that leverage native capabilities of the device, such as click-to-call from any NetSuite record containing a phone number, click-to-email from any NetSuite record containing an e-mail address, and click-to-map (via Google Maps) from any NetSuite record containing a physical address.
