Mumbai University Home to Maximum Multi-Millionaire Alumni

The list of the twenty universities was arrived at after having taken into account those alumni who were found to possess a minimum of £20 million. The assets, properties and earnings of these alumni were first taken into account.

The University of Oxford stands at the highest when it comes to the Universities in Oxford. It stands at number sixteen in the list of twenty Universities. Cambridge on the other hand stands at number nineteen, though it has been found to have more billionaires while compared to Oxford.

The study said "University of Mumbai has the highest percentage of ultra high net worth (UHNW) alumni who have inherited their wealth at 27 percent as well as the highest percentage of UHNW alumni who have inherited wealth and proceeded to create fortunes of their own at 29 percent," as reported by TOI. So, 44 percent of multi-millionaire alumni from Mumbai University are "self-made."
