Motorola Droid Razr Maxx with Amazing Battery Life


Bangalore: After a couple of weeks of CES 2012, Motorola Droid Razr Maxx, a 4G Android smartphone is now available with long battery life on Verizon wireless from January 26.

The phone has a longer battery with standard Li-Ion 3300 mAh battery offering up to 21 hours of talk time and up to 368 hours of standby time. It runs on Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread operating system and Motorola has promised to upgrade this smartphone with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in few months.

Droid Razr Maxx has a sportive 4.3 inch super AMOLED (Active-Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode) touchscreen display with 540x960 pixels of resolution and is powered by 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 1 GB RAM.

The device has an excellent 8 MP rear camera, features autofocus and LED flash, geo-tagging, image stabilization, face detection, touch focus, a 1.3 MP front facing camera for video calls and chats and is capable for  HD video recording. Other features include 16 GB of internal storage which is expandable memory up to 32 GB via microSD card and also supports Adobe flash. For connectivity it has micro USB, HDMI, Wi-Fi, LTE connectivity, Bluetooth.

Currently this 4G smartphone is available only in U.S. for $299.99 with 2 year service agreement. But the company says it will announce its availability and price in Indian market soon.
