Most Talked About and Terrifying Murder Cases in India

September 21, of the year 2007 witnessed a mysterious case when Rahman’s body was discovered along Kolkata’s railway track. Rizwanur Rahman, who belonged to a middle-class family, was married to Priyanka Todi, daughter of renowned industrialist Ashok Todi. Unhappy by his daughter’s decision to marry Rizwanur, she was forced to return to her father’s home. The case was brushed aside by the police and was termed to be just another case of suicide. Later, local authorities and other political big shots were suspected and the truth still remains anonymous to all.

Chandrashekhar Prasad

Popular student of Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru University and also a budding politician of Communist Party of India was brutally killed on March 31, 1997. The murder took place in broad daylight in Siwan, Bihar. He was addressing a gathering in his hometown when he and his companion Shyam Narain Yadav were barbarically put to death. The reason of Chandrashekhar’s murder is yet unknown.
