Vinod Khosla
An Indian-born American venture capitalist, Vinod Khosla is an influential personality in Silicon Valley. He co-founded Sun Microsystems, where he served as its first CEO and Chairman. Later he became a general partner of the VC firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers till 2000. In 2004, he formed his own firm Khosla Ventures, which focused on venture investments in various technology sectors. He also was involved in founding Daisy Systems, TiE, The Indus Entrepreneurs. Khosla also has served as the Honorary Chair of the DonorsCHoose San Francisco Bay Area Advisory Board. He is also a Member of the Board of Trustees of the Blum Center for Developing Economies at the University of California, Berkeley.
