Bangalore: MindTree Consulting, a global IT and R&D services company and member of the Oracle PartnerNetwork, has announced that it is teaming with Oracle to support Oracle's Demantra software product delivered to manufacturing companies in India.

Demantra supply chain planning solutions focus on the creation, planning, and fulfillment of demand. With the acquisition of Demantra in 2006, Oracle expanded its supply chain planning portfolio and can now provide its customers with demand-driven planning capabilities.

MindTree's manufacturing industry group has over the years built and implemented value-added solutions in the areas of supply chain management, promotions management and demand-supply synchronization.

MindTree's manufacturing clientele include Unilever, Givaudan, Volvo, Procter & Gamble, Essilor, Emerson, and United Breweries.

Vikram Amaranath, MindTree Consulting's Vice President and Head of Manufacturing Industry Group, said, "Manufacturers will now be able to adapt their supply chains to better cope with changing market demands. They will be able to deliver improved service levels by optimizing their supply chains, while at the same time, reducing costs by using a trusted and integrated approach to demand and supply management."
