Millenium Spire to invest $1 Bn in real estate

Coimbatore: Millennium Spire, the Indian arm of the global investment management company Millennium Asset Management, has announced an investment of $1 billion in the real estate sector across the country. In the announcement made on Thursday, Ashish Balla, MD, Millennium Spire, said that the company foresees an all over India investment of more than $1 billion in infrastructure development projects. The investment would be on partenrship basis and with this the company intends to accelerate opportunities in South India. Coimbatore would be a key focus area for the investment with one-fourth of the fund earmarked for projects like inner city mixed used project of landmark value and a knowledge based industrial township . Founded in 1994, Millennium is an independently owned international investment management company and one of the longest established European-based firms in the alternative investment industry.
