NEW DELHI: If you’ve got IT skills and are in government service, Microsoft could be looking for you. The company, which is pitching for the government IT business in India in a big way, is currently on a recruitment drive for its e-governance initiatives. “We are in the process of planning for the next fiscal year and in India, we will recruit people to service local, regional and global needs of the expanding e-governance business,’’ Peter Moore, CTO, Microsoft Asia-Pacific & Greater China, told The Economic Times. He is in India on a mission to hire people for a global team that will drive the e-governance business of the company. While hiring will be at senior, middle and entry levels, domain knowledge in government departments will be an advantage.
